Boredom.co – Terms of Use (EULA

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Boredom.co mobile application (“App”) and related services (“Services”). By downloading, accessing, or using Boredom.co, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Overview

Boredom.co helps users discover nearby activities, events, and places. Some features require an optional account or subscription purchase.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 13 years old, and

  • Legally allowed to use the app in your country.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. User Accounts

Creating an account is optional.
If you choose to create one, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features are available through a paid auto-renewable subscription.

4.1 Billing

  • All payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store.

  • We do not receive or store your full payment information.

  • You agree to Apple’s billing terms when making a purchase.

4.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before your subscription period ends.

4.3 Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled solely by Apple under their refund policies.
You may request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Use of the App

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with the app’s functionality

  • Reverse-engineer or modify the app

  • Use the app for unlawful purposes

  • Upload harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

6. Location Services

If you grant permission, the App may access your device’s location to show nearby activities.

You can enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings.

7. User-Generated Content

If you post or submit content in the app, you grant Boredom.co a non-exclusive license to display that content within the app.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws, copyrights, or the rights of others.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, features, and design within Boredom.co are owned by us or licensed to us.

You may not copy, redistribute, or exploit any part of the app without permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party providers such as hosting, analytics, or authentication services.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimer

Boredom.co provides suggestions and location-based content for convenience only.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or availability of any activities or locations displayed in the app.

Use the app at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boredom.co is not liable for:

  • Damages resulting from your use of the app

  • Inaccurate or outdated location results

  • Issues caused by third-party services or locations

Your sole remedy is to stop using the app.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will be posted within the app and on our website, with the updated date.

Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
